It has been a bad time for everyone so far this year but hopefully you are all well and have got back to some normality.
The live music scene has been hit hard but hopefully the shoots of recovery are there, albeit it will take time to fully recover.
I have been busy with three live stream music events on my Facebook page - Jan S Robinson Music
so check them out and I have also embarked on a couple of recording projects as well.
No news as to when Marmalade are performing next, but I will post news as and when it is known.

Over the course of the last few years, I have been performing my solo shows of mixed covers of great songs from artistes such as The Beatles, songs by John, Paul and George, The Kinks, Squeeze, Cat Stevens, Simon and Garfunkel, Ed Sheeran, The Killers and many more.I am now working with many clients providing my acoustic shows in restaurants/gastro pubs, wine bars and corporate and private events within the UK.
I can offer a number of options to clients regarding my sets:
- Solo Beatles acoustic set - either 2 x 40 mins or 1 hour set
- Solo Beatles set with backing tracks - either 2 x 40 mins or 1 hour set
- Solo acoustic set - 60’s Solo acoustic - tribute to Simon and Garfunkel
- Solo acoustic - mixed covers- 60’s onwards - 2 x 60 mins set

All my equipment carries PAT test certification and I have Public Liability Insurance.
Well it’s not been a good year for anyone, so in terms of work there’s nothing to report. All performances were cancelled back in March, bar a couple of outside performances. I don’t expect things to change until spring 2021. However, I have spent the last 7 months recording and latterly have been doing some writing. I have recorded a 10 track CD album comprising 7 covers picked from my live stream gigs earlier this year, plus 3 songs written and performed by me. The album is called Shine A Little Light and will be available to buy sometime in January 2021.
